Panda Commends US Executive on Triple Sales

Riggs Eckelberry Drives the Success for Panda Software USA

GLENDALE, CA – September 17, 2003– Multinational security software

developer Panda Software commended Riggs Eckelberry today who was recently

appointed as General Manager, Panda USA. Mr. Eckelberry is responsible for

Panda's drive to become a key US player in its core antivirus business. His

efforts so far have tripled total US sales levels in the months since his

appointment earlier this year.

Eckelberry is a "practical visionary" with a reputation for transforming

technology ventures. In the 80s he pioneered the use of UNIX-based

supermicrocomputers in business. In the 90s he turned a small utility

called CleanSweep into a world brand that Symantec still markets today.

After a go-go experience selling technology companies during the Internet

boom, he founded the TechTransform consultancy, specializing in

commercializing promising technologies.
