Welcomes Channel Veteran Louis DaRe
GLENDALE, CA - January 18, 2005, - Louis DaRe has joined the executive team
of Panda Software. Mr. DaRe joins their United States headquarters as

In his new position, Mr. DaRe spearheads Panda Software’s strategic
direction as it quickly moves from a mixed model of direct and channel
sales to a full embracement of the channel. Mr. DaRe has worked
extensively with leading distributors, integrators and resellers throughout
his career.
Mr. DaRe has been involved in the software industry for over twenty years.
In 1984 he joined Government Technology Services, Inc. a major reseller and
system integrator for the US government market. During his tenure at GTSI,
Mr. DaRe was Vice President and eventually General Manager. Annual sales
grew from $10 million to over $300 million under his direction.
“The software market in the US is clearly channel driven. Having worked
closely with the major distributors and resellers for the past fifteen plus
years, I am looking forward to advancing Panda’s activities in the channel.
My goal is to make Panda the industry leader in embracing and rewarding
the channel for their initiative and sales growth,” said Louis DaRe.
Most recently, he served eight years as Vice President of Sales at
Executive Software International. There he helped to expand their sales
in the U.S. and internationally and was instrumental in moving them from
their past direct sales model to one that supports the channel.
