LOS ANGELES, April 4, 2000 -- Clicksure (http://www.clicksure.com), the only global quality certification program for e-commerce Web sites that is comprehensive and independent, announced today they have retained Ruder Finn and iAgency for public relations and interactive marketing in North America.

Ruder Finn and iAgency are the newest additions to Clicksure's global PR team. In order to maximize coverage in the regional press, Clicksure has hired agencies in all three countries where they currently have offices. Blitz! handles public relations in the UK, Financial Dynamics is responsible for public relations to the European financial community, and PResse was recently hired to handle public relations in Germany.



Clicksure's founders and advisory council have developed standards regarding privacy and security of data collection and transactions, customer service, site quality, and social responsibility that follow ISO (International Organization of Standardization) guidelines and principles and existing codes of practice for e-business from organizations such as the International Chamber of Commerce. The Clicksure standards create the opportunity for self-regulation by e-merchants, and provide them with a benchmark for quality so that the online shopping experience is reliable, safe and effective. In order to feature the Clicksure certification symbol, Web sites undergo rigorous testing against the Clicksure standards, and are monitored every six months to ensure all criteria continue to be met.
