SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA, October 26, 1999 - Pixelon.com readies for an unprecedented star-studded line-up of artists to perform on October 29th at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas to celebrate the launch of their revolutionary Internet network and technology. Never before has there been such a lineup of artists to celebrate the launch of an Internet broadcast network. Pixelon's iBash '99 event will feature rock, alternative, swing bands, and country divas all uniting to launch pixelon.com. The Who, Kiss, Faith Hill, LeAnn Rimes, The Dixie Chicks, Chely Wright, Tony Bennett, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, and The Offspring are set to perform for this multi-million dollar event.
The event will be Webcast live from Las Vegas. Viewers can log on to http://www.pixelon.com to view the event at no charge. Far different from a standard Webcast, pixelon.com will offer a unique personalized online experience, with each performance broadcast from multiple cameras so viewers have a choice of camera angles from which to view the event. In addition, performances and backstage footage will be archived and available on the day following the event. A viewer only needs to download the Pixelon Player from the website in order to view the broadcast.
