Live365 Introduces On-Demand Audio Technology to Growing Network of Professional Broadcasters
FOSTER CITY, CA, June 1, 2001 - Live365, the world’s largest Internet broadcasting community with over 35,000 Internet radio stations, today announced the launch of On-Demand Audio, a new feature that enables Live365’s growing network of professional broadcasters to upload audio files that can be accessed by listeners on a simple click-to-listen basis.
Utilizing standard CD-style controls from the play list window, Live365’s professional broadcasters now have access to tools that provide a limitless supply of audio files that can be uploaded with Live365’s On-Demand Audio technology. Once uploaded, users that visit a particular professional broadcast station with On-Demand Audio can listen to a complete audio selection at their convenience.
“Live365’s On-Demand Audio is a very exciting and effective feature for professional organizations both large and small,” said Ron Denman, Vice President of New Business Sales for Live365.com. “Speeches, meetings and sermons all produce greater impact when listened to from the beginning, as opposed to joining them in progress. On-Demand Audio is another example of Live365’s continuing commitment to provide our broadcasters with the necessary tools to make their programming choices easier to produce and easier for listeners to enjoy.”
On-Demand Audio technology requires a separate station from any other professional broadcaster who may already be broadcasting in Live, Automatic or Relay mode on the Live365.com network.
Professional broadcasters on Live365 are groups or organizations that use Live365’s broadcast tools to create their own personal streaming radio stations via the Internet. Live365 offers these streaming services on a subscription basis, from as low as $150.00 per month.
