Live365 Promotes John Schenk To Vice President Of Strategic Development

FOSTER CITY, CA  (May 23, 2001) - Live365 (www.live365.com), the world’s largest Internet broadcasting community with more than 35,000 Internet radio stations, today announced the promotion of John Schenk to Vice President of Strategic Development from Senior Director of Strategic Development.

 

Under his new title, Mr. Schenk will be responsible for identifying and securing key partnerships and alliances, making strategic recommendations for increasing profitability, and solidifying the continued growth and presence of Live365 as a leader in Internet radio.  Mr. Schenk will also continue to serve as the Company’s lead record label relations liaison.

Prior to joining Live365, Mr. Schenk was the Senior Director of Strategic Planning & Analysis for Epic Records Group (Sony Music), where he was responsible for managing the overall financial strength of the company and analyzing the profitability of all artist contracts, joint ventures, and label deals.  Before his stint with Epic Records Group he served as the Director of Financial Analysis at Arista Records (BMG Entertainment) in New York.
