CyberDefender
CyberDefender
SVP, Corporate Communications
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Summary
Developed and executed comprehensive public relations plans to penetrate targeted markets and drive growth for this anti-malware solutions developer.
Key Results & Achievements
- Given poor acceptance by media and users of the initial product, created a media strategy that changed the company from a product company to a technical support company with solid reviews and happy customers.
- Created the 'Quattro' partnership for full customer support services.
- Executed the viral 'Mooninite' sign raffle at RSA, called the 'best advertisement at the conference' by bloggers.
- Secured extensive broadcast coverage on FOX, Telemundo, and KCOP.
Testimonials
From raffling off the cartoon sign that freaked out Boston to effectively representing major vendors like Acronis, Trend Micro, and Microsoft, I can't picture a security conference without Alan Wallace. Alan brought then-unknown Panda Software to my attention; the company has since become a major player. When Alan calls with a tip or a question, I pay attention.
