Cybersecurity PR that turns research into coverage
I work with your researchers and engineers to explain findings to reporters and to users.
Could we talk this week?
The problem
Your researchers know what happened, but reporters and users need to understand why it matters and what to do next. Without a clear translation layer, strong findings can arrive as jargon, missed context, or a rushed response when a breach is already moving.
What I do
- Research-to-story messaging
- Reporter briefings and media outreach
- Executive and researcher media training
- Breach and issues communications

How an engagement works
I turn technical findings into reporter-ready messages, user-facing explanations, briefing materials, and a practical media plan. For a breach, I help establish the first 72-hours communications workflow: facts, audiences, spokespeople, approvals, updates, and what cannot yet be said. I do not provide legal advice or promise coverage.
The first 30 days
- Days 1–7: interview researchers, engineers, and leadership; map the facts, audiences, risks, and approval path.
- Days 8–15: build the core narrative, proof points, FAQ, spokesperson brief, and reporter list around the finding or issue.
- Days 16–30: run briefings or outreach, refine the message from questions received, and set an update rhythm for launch or breach communications.
Questions
Do you need a finished research report before we start?
No. I can join while the work is taking shape, help separate confirmed facts from open questions, and prepare a usable narrative before publication.
Can you work directly with our researchers and engineers?
Yes. I work with technical teams to find the plain-language explanation, the defensible evidence, and the questions a reporter or user is likely to ask.
Can you help during a breach?
Yes, on communications. I can help organize the first 72 hours around verified facts, audiences, spokespeople, approvals, and updates. Legal and incident-response decisions stay with your counsel and security leads.
Do you guarantee press coverage?
No. I build a clear story, prepare the people carrying it, and pursue relevant conversations without promising an editorial outcome.
