- Android is now the most popular mobile OS in Sweden, thanks to a push towards cashless banking and some effective marketing campaigns
- Despite the recent negative headlines, iOS enjoyed a positive year in the UK, US, Canada, Spain, France, Germany, South Africa and Russia
- This is despite losing 4% market share in Australia, and 17.45% in Malaysia
- The iPhone 7 is still the world's most popular phone
- Smartphones with 2GB RAM remain the most popular, but 6GB is on the rise

All statistics in this report are based on device usage data pulled from DeviceAtlas, a device detection solution. DeviceAtlas works by parsing User-Agent strings which are looked up in the device description repository that includes over 51,000 unique entries.
